Sundra Lee-Ingemanson became a Rotarian at the Rotary Club of Yonkers-East Yonkers in July 2013, when her husband Matts Ingemanson was installed as District Governor for Rotary International District 7230 for New York and Bermuda.  She was elected  President of the Club for the 2018-19 term.
 
Sundra has been to Rotary International Conventions in Birmingham 2009, Montreal 2010, New Orleans 2011, Bangkok 2012, Lisbon 2013, Seoul 2016, Atlanta, 2017 and Toronto, 2018.. She served as District Governor Spouse 2013-2014 in Rotary International District 7230. She has also served as Co-Chair 2015-2016 for the Rotary Friendship Exchange with Sweden.
 
She is a painter, printmaker and hand built ceramic artist. She has a BS in art and education and a masters in psychology from CW Post College of Long Island University. She studied with Willem de Kooning and Ilya Bolotowsky at the South Hampton Campus of Long Island University.
 
The painting style of Sundra Lee-Ingemanson is varied from abstract to representational. Her influences include impressionism, modern primitive expressionist gothic, Byzantine, primitive and folksy. She infuses love in all her paintings. Her main focus is color. Like Paul Klee, who said “I am obsessed with colors.” She feels spirit in her art and loves angels. She and colors are one. She is a painter. She loves herself in her art. She feels compelled to paint or do some other kind of art.
 
Her art has been displayed on Capitol Hill, Washington, DC and in the residence of a Representative of the Holy See to the United Nations. It is also displayed in prominent homes in New York and Washington, DC and Sweden.
 
She was a Master Art Teacher in the New York Elementary School System for 34 years. The works of her students were exhibited in the Albany State Capitol, New York, where they received awards. They were also exhibited in the New York City Subways. She was also nominated in 2005 as art teacher of the year She has a Permanent New York State Art Teacher Certification for K – 12 since 1975. She was also Past Vice President of Elementary Art Teachers in New York Art Teachers Association, (NYCATA UFT) and she served as Elementary Project Art Liaison for 8 years. Sundra retired as art teacher in 2008.
