Meeting Highlights:
Alix opened the Meeting at 12:30 with the Pledge, a Prayer for Rotary and the community, and the recitation of the Four-Way Test. The Meeting adjourned at 1:50.
Minutes of the 1 November Meeting were not approved due to lack of a quorum.
Happy Bucks collection totaled $18.00.
Board Review – (1) Early Act Constitution and Bylaws were approved. (2) Winter Wonderland – Kensico Dam – (Hartsdale RC request) – for Puerto Rico (14 December) and Camp Morty (18 December) from 7-9. For 14 December event, Parul will be there from 5-7 and Greg from 7-9. For 18 December event, Sundra, Matts, and Shaw will be there from 5-7. At least 2 volunteers are needed for each time slot. Please let Alix know if you can participate. (3) Approved to support Blue Door to a limited extent to enhance the literacy program we are embarking on with Hostos. Blue Door will also do an arts program to also enhance literacy. We support doing a wine and cheese social as a fundraiser. (4) Hartsdale RC has invited us to a Holiday Celebration (January 14 from 12-4). The cost is $50 per person plus 2 $20 gifts per person, for a total of $90 each.
Pencils will be distributed to first-grade students in January.
Holiday Raffle – Of the 100 tickets to be sold, 72 have been committed for. However, only $32 has been collected. Please bring the money in when your tickets have been sold in order that we maintain a current account of sales. The drawing is on 13 December.
Polio – Shaw has suggested having a “Knights of Polio” to recognize people worldwide who have donated $1,000 to the Polio Fund. He plans to hold a dinner in mid-March and hopes to attract 250 attendees.
MEETING SCHEDULE – NO Meetings will be held on 22 November or on 27 December due to the Thanksgiving and Christmas holidays.
Salvation Army Bell Ringing – This will be planned for Friday, 15 December, from 10-4. At least 2 people should attend for each 1-hour shift.

Ronald McDonald House – “Month of Snacks” – This was not on the calendar for this year, so it will remain on hold for now.
Toys for Tots – Lisa reported that The Westchester Bank will be a collection point for toys this holiday season. She invited Y-EY to be a participant with them.
