Alix opened the Meeting at 12:30 with the Pledge, a Prayer for Rotary and the community, the recitation of the Four-Way Test, and the Rotary song led by Harvey. The Meeting adjourned at 2:00.

Happy Bucks – A total of $40 was collected today.

Pancake Breakfast – Alix thanked all those who participated in this event. Greg reported that we received about $5,700 in ads and that we netted about $8,000 for the Breakfast. The Westchester Photo
Booth was there at no charge.

Correspondence –

1) New York State paperwork received for an $8,000 Grant for a Roy Letsen Memorial. Jim has suggested this be done in the form of, perhaps, a stone at St. John’s Riverside Hospital. Greg will complete the paperwork necessary.

2) 4 June – Golf Outing sponsored by Ronald House.

3) 12 June – Greyston Summer Soiree to launch their “Center for Open Hiring.

4) 11 May – YWCA’s “In the Company of Women” at Doubletree in Tarrytown.

5) Y-EY Annual Dinner – tentatively scheduled for Thursday, 14 June.

Polio Dinner Update – Shaw reported that approximately $8,600 has been received to date. $10,000.00 has been transferred to our account from Kuwait donors. Representatives from the Yonkers Police
and Fire Departments are expected to attend.

Club Foundation – The Foundation will allow the Board of Directors to establish a nominating committee for Foundation Trustees. The current Trustees are Matts, Harvey, Frank, Shaw, and Barb. Extended discussion was held regarding the proposed Bylaws of the Foundation.
