Alix opened the Meeting at 12:45 with the Pledge, a Prayer for Rotary and the community, the recitation of the Four-Way Test, and the Rotary song.  The Meeting adjourned at 1:35.

 

Happy Bucks – A total of $70 Happy Bucks was collected in honor of, among other things, Frank’s birthday and Mahbub’s appointment as District Governor 2020-2021.

 

Pancake Breakfast - 

• Parul has 30+ baskets for raffles
• 4 of them will be for door prizes
• Have speakers including politicians start by 10:30
• 11:45 give big prizes & 50/50
• Barbara will provide 50/50 info to Alix

Scholarship committee is comprised of: Sundra - chair, Parul, Harvey, Phillipe, Peg, Ali & Jessica.

Community Service Grant Committee is comprised of Alix, chair, Harvey, Sundra, Peg, Bina, & Philippe.  Greg sent out the grant RFPs in April. 

Greg reported that the the NY State approved $8,000 grant to go toward a Letson Memorial is still awaiting disbursement.  Some paperwork needs to be completed. A committee should be formed to develop a proposal for the memorial.

District Conference: $4,000 in District grant funds have been designated for the District Conference food packing program as part of the Conference.  100 volunteers have signed up but an additional 100 are expected.

President Alix shared a letter from Blue Service Families that assists returning veterans.  They might be interested in joining us in local projects.  Alix also mentioned that active duty soldiers need personal items that are not given to them by the military.
