Members Present:  Alix, Harvey, Peggy, Bina, Shahid, Frank, Greg, Richard, Loren, Fr. Philippe

Highlights:
Alix opened the Meeting at 12:40 with the Pledge, a Prayer for Rotary and the community, the recitation of the Four-Way Test, and the Rotary song led by Harvey.  The Meeting adjourned at 1:35.

Board Meeting Recap – Alix reported on the issues presented to the Board at today’s Meeting.
(1) Pencils - Peggy will contact the Board of Education for detailed school and contact information.
(2) Scheduling – An alternative schedule is being considered for Meetings, with possibly fewer than weekly.
(3) Minutes – The possibility of only decisions made, with no details, is being considered.
(4) Quorum – The Board will consider a possible change in the number constituting a quorum in order that items--minutes might be approved in a more timely manner.
(5) Evening Venue - Discussion was held regarding the location of our Evening Meetings.  Those on the west side of Yonkers are drawing more attendees but not necessarily new Members. It was noted that it is difficult to attract members to meetings held once a month.
(6) Project Cookstoves – Bina will donate $500 to match the Foundation’s donation for one of three remaining villages in Nepal and Uganda.  The cost for an entire village is $1,000 and our Club’s name will be indicated at the specific location.
(7) Project Puerto Rico – The Board approved increasing our participation from $500 to $1,000.
(8) The Club Foundation did not file tax returns  for the years 2014, 2015, and 2016.  Shahid is in the process of working with the appointed attorney to have the penalties excused.
(9) Nominating Committee – If you are interested serving as an Officer or on the Board or wish to nominate someone, please inform Harvey as soon as possible.
(10) Pancake Breakfast – The date of Sunday, 15 April, will be presented to St. John’s for their consideration.
