Nearly 4 million death per year are attributed to the health effects associated with cooking over open fires. Inhaling smoke from open fire cooking is as bad as smoking 40 cigarettes a day. It’s also too much of trouble to collect wood from far away and it’s also dangerous for women as they are exposed to all sorts of dangers. Clean Cookstoves reduce emissions of harmful substances. Mark Johnson added that the Cookstove project aims to eliminate the death, diseases and dangers using locally sourced material like banana trees. The most important thing is with the clean Cookstoves, families are breathing clean air. With our donation 100 families are now breathing clean air
