The Rotary Club of Yonkers-East Yonkers will be hosting the Paul Harris Lunch at the 2017 District 7230 Conference.  Scheduled on Saturday, 8 April at the Tarrytown House Estate, as a one-day information-packed Conference, the Annual District conference will bring together a large number of the 1200+ members of this Rotary District for idea and information sharing, fellowship and goodwill...

An important component of the District Conference is the Annual Paul Harris Lunch which honors those members of the District who are past and present Paul Harris Fellows or Paul Harris Society Members.  Members who have contributed $1,000 or more to the Rotary Foundation during a Rotary Year are designated as Paul Harris Fellows while those who are contributing $1,000 or more to the Foundation every year are inducted into the Paul Harris Society.

The Club has been entrusted with putting together the program for the lunch which will feature Rotary International President John Germ's Representative Past District 7980 Governor Kanayo Rupwani, as the keynote speaker.  All new Paul Harris Fellows will be honored and all district Paul Harris Fellows will be recognized.
The day begins with registration and Breakfast followed by the District Business Meeting.  There is the Peace Forum and "World Cafe" during the morning.  After the Paul Harris Lunch, 4 panels will discuss Rotary as a Business, Young Professionals in Rotary, Membership  and Fundraising strategies.  The afternoon continues with the Rotary Red Carpet and District Awards and the Success Stories Social.  The optional Dinner rounds off the Conference activities.

Attendance at the District Conference is by registration only at  www.rotary7230.org.  The Early Bird registration ends 12 March, with late Registration possible at a higher fee.
